The original Tamil book -  "Penn Yaen Adimai Aanaal?" was published some 75 years ago and considered to be a 'Magna carta' for women's liberation. It is the guiding light towards the dawn of a era. When we analyze the thoughts of Periyar E.V.Ramasamy, his approach does not fit in wholly under any of the feminist school of thought. Hence, it is inevitable to have a new classification as Periyar Feminism.
